This may seem like a long ago and far off question to be asked. But the truth is that our bodies renew themselves over time. This includes our skin cells. In adults, cellular renewal of skin, which is an organ, can take from 28 to 42 days. In those age 50 and older, the skin renewal process can take up to 84 days.
As life goes on we are exposed to weather, sun, stress, chemicals, pollutants, bad diet choices, sleep issues and so much more. Each individually can wear a person down and that can show inside and out. When your skin begins to age it can drag you down making you feel less positive about your appearance. Why deal with that when you no longer have to?
