Are you Missing Motivation?
There is no doubt that being an adult can sometimes feel like Ground Hog Day – Get up, go to work, come home, go to sleep, repeat. It can feel like a never-ending to-do list that just keeps continually getting added on to. This can result in burnout and a dip in motivation.
The question becomes – when you feel worn down and tired out, where do you turn? What changes can you make to pep yourself up and feel better?
We have some tips for you.
- This is by far the simplest and yet the most overlooked answer. REST – Our bodies, minds, and souls need rest. Yet that to-do list keeps on playing in our heads. We live in an action-based society and often can feel pressure to get everything done, often for the sake of our health and sanity.
- Eat Well – Eating a balanced diet of healthy non-processed non-fast foods is vital. The human body needs minerals, vitamins, proteins, fats, and carbohydrates as well as trace minerals to operate optimally.
- Sleep – Following a regular sleep schedule and getting enough quality sleep is important to overall health and wellness as well as energy. Avoid being on the phone or other devices for at least 1 hour before bedtime, sleep with the TV off, turn off Wi-Fi if you can, and try to reduce light.
